Montana: The Official Stance for Construction
Construction Status: Essential
The executive orders from the Governor of Montana came into effect on March 28, 2020. However, the order was further extended till April 24, 2020, stating the shutdown of the non-essential businesses until any amended orders are issued. However, construction has been deemed as an essential service.
As per the recent orders of the Governor Steve Bullock on July 15, 2020, masks have been made a mandate for all.
October 2020 Update: Construction in the state of Montana has been listed as an essential business since the very beginning of the spread of COVID-19. However, it is a mandate for all the construction contractors to stick with the safety and workplace guidelines by OSHA.
