All-In-One Construction Accounting Software

With the outbreak of COVID-19, the State, Federal, and Local Authorities issued several regulations and guidance to control the spread of contagion. However, limited information on the construction services as an essential made it difficult for many to understand any municipal or county variances that may go against the state orders.

This is why team ProjectPro has worked on developing a state-wise guide highlighting and specifying any special considerations made regarding essential or emergency construction projects along with any exceptions made otherwise.

The Update:

Since it has been more than 9 months since COVID-19 has hit the world, things have changed a lot and therefore, we are constantly updating the state wise construction guide focusing the present situation of the global construction industry.

According to Garry LaBarbera, an expert from Building and Construction Trades Council of Greater New York, the present situation demands growth of job opportunities in construction industry. Moreover, there is a need for public projects since there are many bridges, highways, and other public buildings which have passed their validation period and need to be restored.

Besides this, he stated the need for the political parties as well as General contractors and labor unions to collaborate for improving the situation. All in all, there is need for better opportunities for employees and employers while aligning with the transition that COVID-19 has brought as a new normal, Garry added.

As we consider it to be our responsibility to keep all the construction enthusiasts, firms, and contractors informed of the changing trends, we have updated our entire state guide to bring you the real-time face of the construction across 50 different states of the United States of America.

Note: The states, county, or cities that are open to the business should talign with  social distancing guidelines, issued by the CDC. It is a mandate issued in concern to public safety.

Also, any sites which have work requirements that do not satisfy social distancing rules should have a mandate on the use of face masks. Maintaining a distance of 2 meters, mass gatherings, and congregate site settings should also be prevented. For more information, read OSHA’s Guidelines to prepare workspaces that are COVID-19 safe.
