Question 1: In the age of COVID-19, how do you see the construction industry in the year 2022? Do you think this year will be a “digital year†for construction professionals?

In the age of covid-19, I see the industry having to make some changes. Covid-19 has highlighted some things in the way we deliver products as a whole and has made the opportunities more apparent than ever for improvements. There are some definite digital tools available to help aid in delivering projects.

Question 2: The construction industry has undergone dynamic changes over the years. What do you consider as the biggest challenge for this industry now?

One of the biggest challenges currently is that each construction project is a “one-off prototype†for determining the value to the owners/customers of the product, goods, or services.

Question 3: What potential do you see in the latest construction technology trends? Are they capable of boosting the productivity of construction professionals?

I see using digital tools such as AI and ML capabilities to track Work In Place, Schedule, and production to be very valuable for project teams and clients alike. These have the functionality to help drive productivity to a better state.

Question 4: Where do you see the construction industry in the next five years? Please share your valuable insights with our readers.

In the next 5 years, I see some changes potentially. The biggest thing we must get to see is that there is a great opportunity to improve the industry and be more productive.
