New Feature – Job Queue for Loading Project Forecast

A Job Queue has been introduced to improve the performance of the Project Forecast Worksheet. The Job Queue runs based on the date specified in the Project Setup. If no date is specified, the system will display an error message.

A new Boolean field, "Forecast by Queue", has been added to the Project Card. When enabled, the respective project will be included in the Job Queue processing.

Note: To include the Sub-Levels in the Job Queue, the Boolean must also be enabled for the respective sub-level projects.

Users can also manually run the Job Queue through the batch named "Project Forecast Job Queue Batch" by applying the available filters. The date on the batch is automatically populated from the Project Setup.

The calculated data is stored in a new page called "Project Forecast Data Lists," from where it flows into the "Project Forecast Worksheet - JQ."

New Feature – Enable Editable Override Forecasted Completed Cost for Sub-Level Projects in Rev Rec

Forecast Override fields are now editable at Sub-Level Projects.

A new Boolean field, "Update Project Summary Details", has been added to the Revenue Recognition Report/Batch to provide an option for updating the Project Summary Details page available on the project forecast worksheet.

By default, the field is non-editable. It becomes editable only when the "Update Rev. Recog. Summary Details" option is enabled.

Enhancement – PMP - Project Journal Posting Not Reducing the Quantity

Enhancement – Calculate Open Project Backlog Batch - Message "Process Completed"

The "Calculate Open Project Backlog Batch" has been updated to notify users when the batch runs successfully.

Enhancement – POC and Contract POC Report to Include "Line Discount" & Exclude "Planning" or "Revenue Recognized" Projects

The POC Report and Contract POC Report are now generated based on the "Line Amount". Now these also exclude Projects that are set to "Planning" status.

Enhancement – Cost and Billing Report - Enlarge Amount Columns

The "Cost & Billing Report Detailed" has been enhanced to display columns with large amounts on a single line, rather than wrapping text to the next line.

Enhancement – Cost Category Markups with 0%

The Project Cost Category Prices are now working and updating the prices correctly if the Markup% is set to 0. This implies that if the Markup% is 0, then the Price will be equal to the Cost.

New Feature – Subcontract Card - "Progress Payment Method" Field to be Editable

The "Progress Payment Method" field has been made editable on the Subcontract card, even when lines are added via the "Get Project Budget Lines" function.

An additional setup has been created on the Projects Setup under the Subcontract fast tab "Allow Multiple Subcontracts for Project Planning Line".

If this is enabled, you will be able to select a planning line multiple times, either on the same subcontract or a different subcontract/subcontract change order for the same project.

Enhancement – Refined Default Project Task Selection for Change Order Quote Creation

Enhanced the Create Change Order Quote functionality from the Project Card to support Projects where Default Tasks are enabled, and additional tasks are manually added with assigned Global Dimensions.

The process now correctly imports Default Tasks after selecting "Yes" on the "Do you want to use Default Tasks?" prompt and allows for successful Change Order Quote creation.

New Feature – Enhanced No. Series handling in Progress Billing Version

Enhanced the Credit Memo Nos. and Posted Credit Memo Nos. set up to support Progress Billing-specific number series during the New Version process.

If these fields are left blank, the system uses the default Credit Memo Nos. and Posted Credit Memo Nos. from Sales & Receivables Setup.

New Feature – Project Address Setup on Subcontract Commitment

Added a new editable field "Add Project Address" on the Shipping and Payment fast tab in Subcontract Commitment to support fetching Project Address details from the Project Card.

The functionality is linked with the existing "Enable Project Address" field in Project Setup for automatic address flow control.

New Feature – Editable "Skill Class Code" on Project Journals

Enhanced the Project Journal functionality to allow the Skill Class Code field to remain editable when the Crew Time Sheet related fields are blank.

New Feature – Totals on Project Task Lines for Columns "Override Forecasted Completed Cost" and "PFW Forecasted Completed Costs"

A new feature has been added to display the totals for "Override Forecasted Completed Cost" and "PFW Forecasted Completed Cost" columns on the Project Task Lines if "Total" Project Task Type is added.

New Feature – Suppressed Warnings in Progress Billings using "Get Billings" Function

• Added a new setup under the Progress Billing fast tab in Projects Setup to control automatic Change Order handling during the Get Billings process.



• When the setup is enabled and Get Billings is performed using * for Master and Sub-level Projects, the CO value is automatically assigned as Yes/No based on the configured Project classes.





• Multiple Change Order confirmation messages are now suppressed during the import process for Sub-level Projects.

Improvement – Project Price Update on Purchase Order based on Markups

Enhanced the Purchase Order pricing calculation for Time and Material Projects when the "New sales pricing experience" is enabled in Business Central.

The Project Unit Price and Project Total Price are now correctly updated based on the markup defined on the Project Cost Category page.

Improvement – Improved Retention Calculation for Copied Purchase Orders

Updated the "Copy Document" functionality for Purchase Orders containing Project references and Retention % to correctly apply retention calculation and create Vendor Ledger Entries when partially Posted Purchase Orders are copied using "Include Header Only" and posted through Receive + Invoice.

Improvement – Improved Preview Posting Accessibility on Subcontract Commitment

Added the "Preview Posting" button under the Home ribbon on Subcontract Commitment to improve Preview Posting accessibility.

Improvement – Project Journal Quantity Calculation in PMP

Updated the Project Material Planning's Project Journal creation process to make the "Use Available Inventory" field editable during Project Journal creation.

If enabled, the system creates the journal based on the Quantity value.

If disabled, the journal is created using the "Balance Required" quantity instead of the full project quantity.

Improvement – Retention Invoices Due Cue's Filters on Role Center

The "Retention Invoice Due" cue on the Role Center now shows correct filters, data, and cue number.

Improvement – Modify Message when Purchasing Resources from PMP

The message appearing after purchasing the Resource from the project material planning worksheet has now been modified. The type of document is displayed based on what is selected in the Projects Setup.

Improvement – Handled Retention Ledger during General Journal Posting

Updated the General Journal posting process for environments using IRS 1099 setup with retention functionality to ensure retention-related entries are handled correctly, and General Journals can be posted successfully without additional retention validation interruptions.
